If I can do it So can You
Thanks for dropping by. This blog describes my journey in transforming myself from a 120kg obese and overweight person suffering from a sedentary lifestyle to a fighting fit (hopefully) triathlete. This journey is a tough one and there has been many setbacks as well as the occasional win. I'm writing to inspire others to do the same. IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU...

Larian Sultan Azlan Shah 2011 7km

I have just entered my 4th race for the year. Another 7km run to be held on 22 May 2011 in celebration of the birthday of DYMM Sultan Azlan Shah in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. See details of the race here. You can register at the Myraceonline website. There are 2 distances 7km and 14 km.

I'm very excited about this race as it gives me a chance to run another 7km distance so I get to make an attempt to better my 7km time which currently stands at 63 minutes. My target is between 55-60 minutes which can earn me a silver medal based on my personal medal tally system.

Given that it's 2 months away I think I stand a good chance to go after the 55-60 mins. By that time I hopefully will be 10kg lighter which means I can go faster at the same effort.

See the route map for the Larian Hari Keputeraan Sultan Azlan Shah 2011 here.

Let's see what happens.
